The resulting issues are significant from dementia to other age-related diseases, yet there is a profound modifiable risk factor: exercise. As a society we have becoming increasingly sedentary and the results of this can be life threatening. A simple step like making a decision to begin exercising is a start. To ensure it is sustainable you need a plan; frequency of exercise and type of exercise correlating to your fitness goals and unique physiology. Remember any exercise done repetitively must be done with good technique to avoid injury and for long term results.
